It ran fine one day the next day it ran fine in the morning and then started idling and running bad after that

I replaced the coil pack because it was idling bad. It ran fine one day the next day it ran fine in the morning and then started idling and running bad after that. What could possibly be the problem? not getting any spark to number two and five cylinders.

That sounds like a bad ignition control module. There are actually three separate coils and you may have lost the driver for one which is in the module.

Okay, my husband found a what looks to be a condenser next to the coil pack which the wire that was on it came off. do we need it for the spark? and where I would find the ignition control module? please help.

That is just a noise suppressor for the radio. You have to remove the battery https://www.2carpros.com/images/external/41854547.gif

If I may, it could be two bad injectors, I had one in the shop had the exact same problem.
