No spark from distributor

Since you have no spark, my first suspect is a bad crankshaft position sensor. Take a look through these links:

Now, before I suggest replacing the sensor, we really need to be sure it is bad because it is behind the timing belt cover on this vehicle. What I normally would do is check for an RPM signal when cranking the engine using a live data scanner. If there is no signal from the crankshaft position sensor or no RPM signal, the sensor is my first suspect.

PROCEDURES
1. Remove the wheel well splash shield.

2.Loosen the adjusting bolt and mounting bolts, then remove the P/S pump belt.

3.Loosen the adjusting bolt and idler pulley bracket bolt, then remove the A/C compressor belt.

4.Loosen the adjusting nut and mounting nut, then remove the alternator belt.
5.Remove the cylinder head cover.
6.Remove the crankshaft pulley.
7.Remove the middle cover and the lower cover.

NOTE:
Do not use the middle cover and lower cover for storing removed items.
Clean the middle cover and lower cover before installation.

8.Disconnect the Crankshaft Speed Fluctuation Sensor (CKF) sensor connector, then remove the CKF sensor.
9.Install the CKF sensor in reverse order of removal.
