Hello my name is Justin. I have the car listed above Spyder GT. I was driving home the other day when out of no where the engine just shut off I pulled over and tried to restart it but no luck. It cranks fine but wont start. I changed the fuel pump with no luck. So I check the spark plugs and was not getting spark. I had a spare set of coils so I changed the coils and still no spark. Then I changed the cam shaft position sensor and still no spark. Any ideas?

Thank you

Hello,

This could be a problem with your vehicle's Crankshaft Position Sensor [CKP] which is responsible for sending a signal to your vehicle's Power-train Control Module [PCM] telling it where the crankshaft is in the engine's 4 stroke process. The PCM uses this information to synchronize the ignition timing for the spark plugs and for the misfire monitor. In the diagrams down below I have included a wiring diagram of the CKP sensor circuit and a diagram showing your vehicle's CKP. Here is a link describing how to change it below:

Please get back to us with how everything turns out.

Thanks,
