Cranks does not start, no spark

My truck is a step side. It turns over but does not start. I was told it was the ECM. How can I know for sure?

Good afternoon.

Did you verify it has no spark?

When you crank it over, does the tachometer move up a little?

Did you check fuel pressure?

ECM is very premature and a very expensive guess. Especially if it is the wrong guess.
