Hello,
I am French and I just bought a 2005 Jeep Liberty KJ.
This KJ has Infinity speakers in the front doors.
Currently it is equipped with a radio RB3 with CD changer in the back.
I want to install a more modern radio with Bluetooth connection, hands free kit, retrieve steering wheel controls, GPS and possibility to install a backup camera.
I ordered and received this car audio on the website https://www.autoradio-gps-discount.com/fr/jeep-grand-cherokee-autoradio-auto-radio-dvd-gps-tnt-tv-radios/991-jeep-chrysler-dodge-android-wifi-4g-3g-autoradio-poste-multimedia-gps-waze-smartphone-mirrorlink-iphone-ipod-tv-bluetooth.html
There are two plugs on the back of the RB3: one of 10 pins which is used for the CD charger which will not be connected with the new car radio and one of 22 pins which serves for the operation of the radio.
It fits perfectly in the center console and it was delivered with the Jeep adapter.
Only I have no sound to the speakers.
There are many posts on the subject and I understand that it is simply necessary to feed the relay of the Infinity amp with a + 12V which is on the wire of the remote control of the car radio.
My aftermarket radio has no remote control, so I thought to take the + 12 V on the antenna wire.
Only I do not know which wire of the Jeep connector I have to connect it.
I looked for posts on this subject, I found only diagrams for the WJ.
On the beam of the radio car, I noticed that there was a pin (I think N°14) that is not connected with the pin of the KJ, it is white and pink.
In France there are few forums dedicated to the KJ and it is practically impossible to have information on this subject.
So can you tell me which pin I need to connect this +12 V antenna?
Thank you

Hello and welcome to 2CarPros. The issue here is that there are two amplifiers, one in each front door. They both receive power from the radio choke relay. To trigger that relay using a power feed from the new radio you would need to connect to the yellow wire with the red trace that is in connector one pin 13. See the first picture for the relay.

The 10 pin connector isn't just for the CD changer, if your vehicle has built in hands free phone linking or satellite audio, that is the 10 pin connections main job. The changer just T-s into that wiring. Second picture shows it's connections.

The white/violet wire on pin 14 is a direct link to the PCI communications bus. That connection makes the warning chimes go through the speakers as well as the steering wheel controls operational. The new radio says it connects to it. I hope it is designed properly, I have seen aftermarket devices that are supposed to work with the OEM systems fail and cause major problems when they short out the communications buss.

Hello,
Thank you for your clear and precise answer.
I will make the connection as you recommend.
I have no record with this car radio, the only information I have is the connection diagram stuck on the car stereo.

I am enclosing the picture of this diagram because it is quite possible that I come back to you for the wiring of the recovery of the steering wheel controls.
Hoping he did not make a mistake between the schema and the connections.
Thank you so much,
Adcoski

Looking at that picture there is an amp control wire on that radio (pin 10 on the connector labeled as 5), you should be able to connect that to the yellow wire with the red trace and get the relay to power on. As for the controls. Your radio seems to have a 2 wire CAN connection. Not sure how that would work with the single wire system the Jeep uses. Perhaps contact the seller and see what they have to say about that?
