Okay, this is actually my girlfriends car so bare with me. Why she didn't take it back to the dealership when she initially realized the problem is beyond me. Anyways, the radio doesn't work. The time is displayed so I believe that rules out a fuse issue. Other then the clock, nothing works on the face of her factory radio. I did hold the power and eject button down for approximately 5 seconds, then the number 030280749031 pops up on the display screen. Also, this car was in a dealerships lot a month ago and the radio hasn't worked this entire time. I say that, because I have read it might be an issue with the battery getting disconnected or replaced with out the radio being turned off. It does look like a brand new battery was installed. Anyways, all help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks guys!

I should have clarified this earlier, I have tried the dealership. She didn't go to a major used cars lot, to be fair they are not exactly a cut throat dealership either. Regardless the customer service has not been superb. I dropped the vehicle last weekend. They said to give them an hour, 3 hours later the Jeep is still parked where I left it. My complaint leads to an argument. Yadi yadi yada. Bottom line, I need to see if I can fix this myself. Whats this security code you speak of sir?

If you don't have it the radio won't work? Anytime the battery is disconnected it locks the radio. So you need a Chrysler dealer to give you the code so you can write it down they can look it up by the vin# and or scan it to see if anything else is wrong with it. And you won't be able to fix it yourself unless the code is punched in to radio there are also 2 fuses underhood in tpim module it could be that as well so it needs scanning.
