Hi,

Were there any strange sounds or smells when this happened? This could be several different things causing this. For example, a failed fuel pump, camshaft or crankshaft position sensor issue, a plugged catalytic converter, and so on.

What I suggest is this. The first thing that should be done is to scan the computer for diagnostic trouble codes. This should point us in the right direction.

Here is a quick video showing what needs to be done. I realize most people don't own a scan tool, but often times a parts store will lend one to you.

Do this and let me know the results. I will watch for your reply.

Take care and God Bless,

Joe
