It will not rev after coming to a stop or idling?

Hi, my vehicle listed above is a diesel. It will not rev after coming to a stop or if left to idle after start and will shudder if given some gas. Upon starting the car if I give it some gas immediately and bring the rpm up above 1200 it then drives like normal. There are no warning lights displayed but it is due for a service.
Fuel filter?

Yep, fuel filters can cause all kinds of issues on these trucks, I would change it out first and then run or clear the codes. We do not have info on where the fuel filter is sorry, but this guide can show you how to gather the codes:

Thanks Ken. Changed the filter this afternoon which cost me $89australian. It was a simple swap but made quite a mess when I removed the sensor from the bottom of the canister. Installed the new one now runs like new, greatly appreciate your advice.
