A little background information: I was given the wrong U-joint for the rear drive axle. The driveshaft ended up coming off while I was driving. In the process it cracked the transfer case, replaced the transfer case then the rear differential ended up binding up, teeth missing on the ring and pinion gears so I had to drive in 4WD to make it home as I couldn't afford a tow at the time. On the way home the transmission started making noises then went out. Wouldn't go in any gear, in or out of 4WD. I replaced the rear differential and the transmission. My truck will go in all gears except reverse now. I put it on my ODBII reader and got codes P0753, P0132, P0711 and P1763. The transmission I got was a used rebuilt transmission from a pick your own parts yard. I then changed the whole unit with the governor pressure sensor/shift solenoid/trans fluid temperature sensor that was inside of the transmission pan. Still same issue. No reverse and I can't get it out of 4WD. The shift linkage is good/adjusted properly, and the transfer case changes from 4H to 4L to N to 2H mechanically. Is the 4WD issue due to no reverse? What steps do I take from here? Help!
Thanks in advance!

These sound like two separate issues so please start a new thread for the 4wd issue. Can I ask when you put the transmission in reverse does the backup lights come on? If not, begin by checking the fuses with the key on, here is a guide to help and fuse location are in the images below:

If the fuses are good and the reverse lights are not working, I would replace the gear range sensor and check the electrical connector on the transmission to make sure it is secure and none of the pins have pulled out. Check out the images (below). Let us know what happens and please upload pictures or videos of the problem so we can see what's going on.

No reverse: The P0753 code refers to a problem with the shift solenoid A. I only see shift solenoid for 3/4 gears, so I am not sure about the trouble code. Can you clear the codes and then start the engine and run the codes again to see what comes up please?
