Reverse went out and whining in park and neutral. No check engine light. Changed out filter and still some results. Fluid wasn't really bad for 22127.

Hi,

The idea that you lost reverse and are hearing a whining leads me to believe there is a line pressure issue. Reverse gear requires the highest amount of line pressure to operate. By chance, did you flush the transmission cooler?

I will be happy to provide directions, but I first need to identify which transmission you have. It will be either a 4L60E or a 4L80E. If you look at the pics below, it shows where to check to identify which one you have.

Let me know when you get a chance.

Take care,

Joe
