We’ve owned the car since 18,000 miles never any issues. Wife went to leave for work one day and car wouldn’t move in any gears. Igor under and had her move the shifter through the gears and fluid was spraying out of the axle shaft seal. So I changed that dropped the pan and changed the filter, filled it back up now goes onto drive and goes forward (a little sluggish) but will not move in reverse feels like the e-brake gets engaged immediately when it’s in reverse.

Good morning,

If you change the oil/filter in the transmission and it is still doing the same thing, you most likely have an internal failure in the transmission.

It sounds like you need either a rebuild or replacement with a used unit.
