Intermittent no reverse after replacing the solenoid?

1995 TOYOTA CAMRY
130,000 MILES • 3.0L • V6 • AUTOMATIC

After changing the solenoid reverse worked first, then now it can't, but then it might work here or there. Anybody know what kind of trouble shooting I should do?

Hi,

The first thing I'm going to recommend is to scan the computer to see if there are diagnostic trouble codes that may point us in the right direction.

Also, when you say a sole lid, exactly what are you referring to?

Let me know. Additionally, let me know the condition and level of the transmission fluid. The idea that it is only reverse, we may have a line pressure issue.
