No power while accelerating on gas?

The truck turns on but when I accelerate on the gas it's hesitates it has no power at all.

Hi,

This could be a few different things. By chance, is the check engine light on? If not, here is a link that explains how to retrieve codes from the OBD1 system:

Next, does the exhaust sound normal? A plugged catalytic converter can cause a major power loss.
