No power when accelerating?

Car ran kind of jerky on my way to work. Suddenly it lost power. Sounded like an air hose when accelerating and wouldn't go over 20mph. Found a leak in the flex pipe coming out of the manifold. Put a new one on. Car still has no power. Just had it in the shop and had the manifold, catalytic converter and o2 sensors changed about 4 months ago.

Yep, the air noise is telling us you may have a clogged catalytic converter. But to be sure this guide may help but the best way is to remove it for inspection. You have a primary cat which is inside the exhaust manifold, and you have a secondary unit under the car.

I just replaced the primary cat about 3 months ago. Don't think that's the problem. Will run fine for about 2 minutes and then starts acting up again. Can't seem to get the flex pipe tight enough to seal the leak.
