I have a problem with my car (2017 Dodge Grand Caravan).
It doesn't have absolutely any power whatsoever (no ignition, no lights, no doors, no windows, no nothing). The battery is OK, reads 12.8, is less than a year old. I have a portable jump battery, it doesn't give any power either when I connect it. The OBD-II scanner doesn't show anything when I connect it to the port under the steering wheel.
I've tested the battery wires for continuity. There's continuity from the negative to the frame, and from the positive to the TIPM. I've checked all the fuses too, they're good. Most of them read the battery voltage or close to it between the fuse and the ground.
I disconnected and reconnected all the cables that go out of the TIPM. They don't show too much corrosion.
I'm inclined to think that either the TIPM is toast, or there's some faulty cable or connector I missed.
Is there any way to tell for sure before I try to replace the TIPM?
