No power to the A/C controller switch?

Sometimes when turning to keep on battery light stays on and I lose power to my AC control switch and my fuel gauge. When that happens, I have to bang on the steering wheel in order to get the power to come back on.

It sounds like you have a bad ground. here are the two locations we need to check to confirm the connections. Check out the images (below). Let us know what happens and please upload pictures or videos of the problem so we can see what's going on.
