No power to obd2

Not enough power to obd2 connector to connect to scanner. test light just blinks. i have checked all sensors and fuses. try to reset security. what could i try next? i replaced heater coil about a month this is a issue sense then..

Sounds like a pinched wire or a bad connection. The ALDL gets power from the ALDL/onstar fuse. If the power feed to the Onstar module was damaged or pinched it to a different wire it could cause problems.
