The seems to be running pretty good and I do not hear or feel any misses. It has very little acceleration and will not shift until I let up on the gas. Also the car is running a lot hotter then normal and the fan stays on high and will not shut off. I am leaning towards the cat. but I don't know.

Thank you for your time in this.

It sounds like it could be related to the catalytic converter. When the engine has been running for awhile, look at the converter to see if it is glowing red hot. If it isn't, remove one of the O2 sensors to see if that helps the power issue. Let me know if there are any trouble codes.
