Car has set for several months. No power to anything except door locks. No headlights, dome lights or anything else electrical. New battery. Nothing happens when you key on key. All fuses test good. Suspect 50 amp IGN. Fuse link or ignition switch. Car was running fine when parked.

Thanks for visiting 2CarPros.

What you'll need to do is check the large gauge red wire at the ignition switch. Dropping the insulation panel under the column will allow this. There should be 3-5 screws under the dash that retain it. The 50 amp fuse feeds the switch which in turn feeds the other fuses when on. Below is the wiring diagram.

KENW1, Never trust what other people tell you that they checked. Turns out it was the 120 AMP ALT fuse blown. $4.00 fuse plus a $120.00 tow bill and it's back on the road. Also they told me car had only been sitting a few months but it turns out it has set over 18 months. They probably reversed jumper cables when trying to jump start it. Now to decide if it is worth purchasing. Thank for all you help.

I'm glad you were able to get it going. You're right about trusting used cars sellers, always inspect and look for yourself.
