When I try to crank my truck there is no power to the ignition switch?

When I try to crank my truck listed above c10, there is no power to the ignition switch. So I tried to hot wire it but still it won’t crank.

Take a look at the wiring diagram. The ignition switch should have 12 volts at all times. When you hotwired it, where did you run the wire from and where did you run it too? Did you jump it straight to the starter or the ignition switch?

When I tried to hot wire it I went from the starter and battery post.

Okay. Another clarification question. Look at the wiring diagram. When you did this, your ignition switch needs to be in the on position and then jump to the control wire.
