My brother got this truck listed above, he drove it home 4 hours+ when he got it, that was a month ago, he had drove two days ago and then ran the battery drained. So, we went to order a new alternator, but they didn’t have the one that came out of the truck (not the right one they said). We got the right one turns out the alternator plug was never plugged in to the old one because when he went to plug it, it turned out it was the wrong plug. Went to the junkyard cut and spliced them on as a test, changed out battery connectors (not the cables). I went to turn on the car and there was no power. I’m completely lost. He did it all himself, lol.

Just to be sure we are on the same page, when you turn the key as it sits now there is no power to anything including any of the accessories.

Let's make sure the battery is connected tightly and correctly.

Then we need to test the battery again just to be sure it is not the issue as just connecting the alternator with a different connector won't cause the entire vehicle to not have any power.

Then we need to find out if we have power to and from the ignition switch. There could be a fuse issue, so we need to start from the beginning and make sure we have power at the switch.

Let's start with all this and then we can take the next steps if we find no issues with this.
