I just put a new 2 barrel Weber carb on it. Was trying to adjust the distributor timing and after a dozen times of turning the engine over the carb spot a bit and I lost all electrical power. No lights, nothing.

DID TRY OUT THE STUFF IN THE LINK?

I CAN'T THINK OF ANYTHING THAT MOVING THE TIMING MIGHT DO TO LOSE ALL BATTERY POWER. WERE YOU JUMPING IT, AND MAYBE SHORTED IT?
