I just rebuilt the heads started the car started right up ran for 30 minutes started sounding like a misfire and shut off then started for a min and shut off again, no communication with scan tools. Tried 2 of them no 5 v reference nothing checked all fuses relays and grounds all were good I did change some wire connectors, but all seem to be good and in the right place please help. Thanks there trying to tow it from my apartment, so I got to figure this out as I love my car and rebuilt the whole motor which ran for a year until I bent valves which after I fixed it, it ran fine but now only turns over.

If there is no ground to the MFI relay, that prevents power to multiple components. Have you checked the connector at the PCM to see if there are any issues with the pin, connector, or wiring? Have you disconnected the PCM and checked for a ground path right at the PCM? See pics 1 and 2.

Also, the lack of communication with the DLC it likely related. The remaining pics below are the diagnostics for an unresponsive DLC. Take a look through them and let me know if you have questions. Also, note that the diagnostics are for both an automatic transmission and manual transmission. There are variations indicated.

Let me know.
