No oil pressure, turns over will not start

Car lost power while going 65 gauges show 0 oil pressure. There's adequate oil and when I try to restart before needle moves a tad bit car will not start.

It sounds like the oil pump pick up tube is clogged or the oil pump pressure regulator spring has broken, I would remove the oil pan and the oil pump to replace the oil pump with a new unit and also clean out the oil pan and pick up tube, here is how the job is done in the images below. Check out the images (below). Please let us know what happens.
