no mil at key on engine off

When i put the key to see the dashboard light the service engine soon light never comes on so that is the reason i cant pass smog. Where do i start looking on how to fix this problem or what steps should i do??

Hello,

Ok, most likely it's the bulb, if your not the original owner and the light remained on do to a minor problem that a previous own didn't want to fool with they may have just remove the bulb or placed electrical tape over the area. So, below are instructions to remove the dash, you won't need to go through all procedure's.
