No lights turn on not even when jump starting

I have been trying to get my car going for almost a year. Car will not turn lights on any more not even when jump starting. I keep replacing batteries. help please

Follow the smaller battery positive wire to the under-hood fuse box. Be sure that connection is clean and tight. Follow the smaller battery negative wire to the body and be sure that one is tight and not rusty.
