No dash lights, no taillights, no head lights (on auto) head lights will come on when you manually turn on switch. Has rapid chime when you turn off and remove key kind of as if you left the head lights on.

Is there any history to this? Did these all go out at the same time? I ask because there is not one thing outside the possible BCM that could cause all this to happen at the same time. So if this happened at the same time was it after a thunder storm? Is there a chance that the vehicle was hit by lightening? To check this, look at the tip of the antenna and see if it looks melted or charred at all. This is the typical entry point of lightening.

Let me know if this happened at the same time or over time and what you find with the antenna. Thanks

No, it all appeared to happen at once. At least the chiming, the dash lights and headlights I know for fact happened at once. No rain for days.

Okay. Then the only thing that would make sense is the BCM is malfunctioning. Take a look at this wiring diagram. The way to confirm this is to measure voltage on the highlighted circuits when you are operating the lights. However, the rapid chime is what is pointing me here the most because that is solely controlled by the BCM.

I found the problem. The entire problem was fuse 37 a 20 amp fuse in the under hood fuse panel was bad. It was the entire result of my headlights, dash lights and taillights not working. It was the reason the chiming quickened after the key was turned off and pulled out of the ignition.

That is great news. Kind of odd and clearly I did not expect that to be the solution but I am glad you figured it out and shared the results. I am sure that will help others that may have this issue. Thanks for using 2CarPros.

Thanks, I was about to take it to an electrical repair shop that quoted me an estimate of $600.00 to $800.00. I just didn't think it could be the things they were telling me. So before I did. I checked every fuse on the side of the dash then started checking the fuses in the box under the hood. It was about the last one. There are 39 fuses. 38 and 39 are not even used. But there were fuses in the space. This was number 37. So I went through all but 2 fuses to find the problem but at least I found it before I took it to this guy and left it there for probably weeks and got ripped off on the repair cost. Thanks for your help.
