Revers lights are not working, where is the back-up light switch located?

I need to know the location of the back-up light switch because I can’t find it. I want make sure this is good or bad because my reverse lights are not working

Hi,

I attached the wiring schematic below for the reverse lights. First, make sure the fuse is good in the under-
hood fuse box.

Note: When checking the fuse, even if the fuse is good, confirm there is power to and from it. Here is a link you may find helpful:

Next, go to the lights and check to see if there is power to the purple wire with the key on/engine off and the shifter in reverse.

If there is no power, the reverse lights switch is integral to the transmission range sensor on the side of the transmission where the shift linkage attaches.

Starting with pic 3, I provided directions specific to the reverse lights not working. Take a look through them and let me know if you are comfortable performing them.
