Fan works fine, A/C works fine, but when I switch to heat and defrost, there is air coming through vents but NO heat? Low mileage engine is clean and works great...but this has me baffled now that we are going into winter season. Please help!

Yep, no fun without a heater, first I would check to make sure the coolant is full because the first thing to stop working when the coolant is low is the heater. If the coolant is full start the engine and allow it to get warm, then turn the heater on full and then feel the heater hoses (both), they should be hot. If not, I would flush the heater core using a garden hose and if so, I would change out the blend door actuator.

Please go over this guide as well:
