Truck had been running good without any problems. Went to town for couple of hours, come home and parked truck. One hour later, went to start truck, spins over good and fast but will not start. Checked for fire at plug wires and fuel at fuel rail and getting neigther one. Would greatly appreciate your help.

There are a couple suspects here. First, start with checking the auto shut down relay in the power distribution box under the hood. Switch it with another relay that has the same part number.

Tried swapping the relays around, the fuel pump relay and the auto shutdown relay and starter relay are all the same relays. When swap them around, all three work when in the the starter relay position but when in the fuel pump relay position and in the auto shutdown position, none of them work when in them two positions but relays are good. Any help with this would be greatly appreciated.

This sounds like a classic crankshaft angle sensor that has gone bad causing the engine not to start. Here are guides to help us see what you are in for when replacing the sensor.

INSTALLATION
Position crankshaft position sensor, and install mounting bolts. Torque mounting bolts to 8 Nm (70 in-lbs)

Check out the diagrams (Below)

Let us know what happens and please upload pictures or videos of the problem.

Cheers, Ken
