I am not getting any fire to my plugs. I took off distributor cap and found a magnet for rotary button to hit on one side, but it looks like a magnet should be across from that one. it looks like one should be there but there is not one. should there be one candidate find a detail?

Hello,

It sounds like the distributor cap is bad. Keep in mind that you should not have any loose parts inside the distributor cap.
Any time the cap gets replaced; it is recommended to replace the rotor as well.

I have attached diagrams for your reference.

Please let me know if you have any questions.
Thank you.
