No start after running out of gas

I was driving van ran out of gas. I put gas in but now not getting any fire to plugs and van not starting.

It is not uncommon to damage a fuel pump when running out of gas, but that should not have any issue with spark. Did you check to see if there is fuel pressure? How did you check for spark?

Here are a couple links that provide directions for what I mentioned above. I do not know if you need them or not. However, let me know about the fuel pressure.
