No fault code is being provided when I use a jumper cable to the blue connector pax side.

Any thoughts? Thanks for your time.

Car running well on startup stops when warm? Coil? Have one ordered for Monday, otherwise ECU. Does get spark when warm it seems.

Have done:
- fuel pump and filter
- new plugs
- new air filter
- cleaner Idil device on intake manifold

Hi,

When it stalls, do you have to wait until it cools for it to restart? I ask because if so, it could be related to the crankshaft position sensor or the ignition control module in the distributor. However, either of these would prevent ignition spark to the plugs. See pic below.

Are you certain there is spark? Try this. When it stalls and won't restart, see if it starts if you use starting fluid. If it does and then stalls, it's fuel related. If there is no change, then it is likely ignition related. So, if it doesn't change, recheck for a spark at the plugs.

Here is a link that explains how to check:

On the other hand, if the engine stalls but restarts right away, take a look below at pics 2 and 3 which provide possible causes.

Let me know.

Take care,

Joe
