No energy

So I got my alternator check and it was good, battery checked and it said it was bad. Bought a new one and my car still isn't getting any energy unless I give it a jump. What is the problem?

Hi SSAMS,

Just so I understand, after you put the battery in the vehicle, did it operate properly at all? Did it need a jump after sitting overnight? How long did it take after the battery was replaced before you needed a jump again?

I am going to assume you have what is called a parasitic draw on the battery. This means you have something that is staying on when it shouldn't that is drawing the battery life down to the point where you can't start the car. Once it starts, the alternator is enough to keep it running but eventually, the battery will be discharged enough that this will not work any longer either.
