I replace the battery about two weeks ago. three days ago it quit at a signal light. This has never happened before it started first try. The next day went to start no power any where no dash lights, no lights any where. Check all inside compartment all fuses are good. Trunk, gas lid or hood will open with in side levers. The hood has a electrical switch to open hood so can not check the under hood breakers. any help will be greatly appreciated even how to get under hood. No electrical problems before now no even a blown fuse other than the battery replacement.

charge battery and see if car will start, you may need to do a security system reset. if car starts have the charging system checked it may not be putting enough out. See link for security.

Thank you HMAC300 for the reply. But this is part of my problem there is no power any where, the car totally dead. I replaced the battery three weeks ago no problem. I can not open my hood, trunk or gas access door. I read the security and there is no way to bypass the system.

some of these cars you can by an adapter to charge the battery or get power by plugging into the cigarette lighter. you may have to try that you may have to charge for about ten minutes that may give you enough power to at least open the hood.

Hey ACT6$

I just had one of these problems and it turned out to be the positive battery cable, can you check it out by moving it around to see if the power comes back on?

Also clean the battery terminals

Here is a guide.

Please let us know what you find so it will help others.
