Own an Opel Astra h vxr (opc) 2l turbo.
Car was idling rough and needed a small rev to keep engine from shutting off. After driving for five minutes the car shut off and was towed home.
Car does not crank. When key is turned it sounds like it's taking in air and car backfires but no crank no start. Checked the Bosch Crank sensor and the readings on the multi-meter seems okay. No short circuits.
Any assistance would be appreciated.
