I have been driving my car fine after getting home the car would not start only makes a click when trying to start. I replaced the starter and it still does the same thing; one single click each time I try to start it. My radio and the clock inside the car also goes off when switching the key and comes back on when I release it. I did notice my negative battery terminal has a crack in it could that be the problem?

Hello.

Yes, if your battery is charged properly that could be the problem, battery clamps positive and negative must be tight and clean to supply the proper current to the starter.
repair the clamp first.

check our guide how to clean the battery cables.
