No crank, no start

Edit: The truck is a 2004. I get in the truck, then I put the key in all lights come on. When I turn the key over to start the car. It makes one click sound and the car shuts off. If you could answer this as soon as possible, it would help a lot. Note: We have already tried to clean the battery connectors and there is a new battery.

Follow the smaller battery positive wire to the under-hood fuse box and be sure that connection is clean and tight. That's a common source of this symptom on all car brands.

Also follow the smaller battery negative wire to the body and be sure that connection is tight and not rusty.
