No crank no start

5.9 diesel will only start when I cross starter with a screwdriver battery's are new 1 year plenty of juice in the battery's just wont start like if it was in gear which it is not

Hello,

It sounds like you have a faulty solenoid or relay.

I have attached procedures of how to check the solenoid and the relay as well as the starter replacement procedure.
