Replaced ignition actuator because the pin broke and I put it all back together and everything is normal but no crank no start. A relay under the dashboard clicks every time I turn it over to start. I can jump at the start relay under the hood and it starts and runs great. Any suggestions? I also have replaced the ignition switch and the start relay. This clip (I believe) fell from under the dashboard and I am not sure where it goes?

I have not seen the clip before so not sure on that. Can you move the gear shift to the neutral position to see if it cranks over?

Please let us know what happens.

Cheers, Ken

I tried starting in neutral and no crank. I noticed that when you turn the key slowly to the start position there is a clicking noise coming from under the hood and then when you finish turning it the rest of the way then the relay under the dashboard clicks. Not sure if this means anything or will help solve the problem. Thank you

Under the hood sounds like it is close to the firewall.

Can you try to cranks the engine over with the headlights on? If the lights go out when you crank it over it sounds like you have a bad battery.

All right, getting closer. I would take a test light and hold it to the trigger wire of the starter to see if it is getting power then we can work our way backward in the system.

You might have a starter that is no good. check out toward the bottom of this guide.

Did you get a chance to check for power at the starter trigger wire?
