No crank no start after engine swap

2008 CHEVROLET SILVERADO

I pulled a motor from a 2008 Tahoe and put it in my 2008 Chevrolet 1500. Get in turn the key lights everything comes on but won't do anything. Do not hear the starter click. And the security light is staying solid.

Hi,

It sounds like the security system has it immobilized.

I need you to try something. Turn the key to the run position and let it stay on for approximately 10 minutes. See if the light turns off. If it does, see if it will start.

Also, was only the engine replaced? Did you do anything with the computers?
