pulled into driveway placed into park ran inside, returned to vehicle turned key nothing, no crank, I can hear fuel pump turn in, I can hear relays click. I tested the starter solenoid, no power, I assumed it was the security bypass, but the light did not blink. I changed the crank relay no change. checked fuses all good. What tests can I perform in sequence to troubleshoot? Thank you.

There are four fuses that run the system we need to check for power also there is an additional relay as well. Here is a guide to help you test for power and the starter wiring diagrams so you can see how the system works and where to test for power and grounds. Also, I would run the codes to see what comes up, you can get a CAN scanner (Controller Area Network) from Amazon.

Here is a video to show you how:

and

Here is one for about $99.00 if you need it:

Here is how to check for power and ground:

I performed the test using a test light, had power at starter fuse30A, had power at PCM control relay pin 30 also, following diagram had power at run/crank relay also at batt ignition fuse 10A. Plugged in the Audel scanner received following code P0340 camshaft position sensor circuit, P0365 camshaft position sensor B circuit. scanner also indicated modules present SAE J1 850 VPW.

So, does the engine crank over (starter working) or does the engine crank over but not run? Can you please shoot a quick video with your phone so I can hear the engine cranking over? That way I can tell for sure what's going on. You can upload it here with your response.

The engine does not crank. When I turn the key to start there is no power to the starter solenoid when using the test light.

Okay, do you have a security light flashing when you try to crank the engine over? If not, I would swap out the crank relays to see if that fixes it. Here are the locations #77 and #78. Check out the images (below). Please let us know what you find.

I would use the starter wiring diagrams above to see where you are losing power when the key it turned to the crank position.

Please go over this guide and report back.

Performed tests on starting utilizing test light, there was power to purple wire up until the connection covered with shrink tubing. When I moved the connection the test light confirmed power. I cut and removed shrink wrap cover and found corrosion and looks like a previous repair done poorly. I stripped wire and soldered connection. Started right up.
Thank you for the guidance.
