Yep, the stock radio is tied into the security system did you use a harness adapter? If not, this can be your problem. Please check all fuses as well you could have popped one.

The radio uses the VCIM (vehicle communication interface module) so if the new radio does not meet requirements or has the correct adapter the truck will not start. Here are the radio wiring diagrams so you can see how the system works. Please let me know what happens.
