No crank

Red light flashing on dash will not crank over.

Red flashing light is commonly the security system telling you that the key isn't recognized. The first step is to try a second key. If no second key, then you will likely need to talk to an automotive locksmith to have them use a transponder tester to see if the transponder in the steering column is working. The security system is what is stopping it from cranking. You could try disconnecting the battery to reset the system but if the transponder is the problem, it won't change anything.
