No crank when it gets cold?

I have a 2003 Volkswagen Passat W84 motion when it gets cold it won’t start. I have no crank scenario. Need to know what I’d like to know if there’s even power going to my starter and where is my starter located? How do I get access to it?

Yep, this starter is a tough one to get to, you will need to disconnect the battery first and then support the engine to remove the engine mount on the same side as the starter. Here is a video that can help confirm the starter with images below to help you with your car.
