Hello,

If your vehicle has no compression, the issue as to why it has no compression must be fixed before it will start. Compression, fuel, and an ignition source (spark) is what is required for your vehicle to start. An engine with no compression can be caused by worn/damaged piston rings, worn/damaged valves, blown head gasket, cracked/damaged engine block, cracked damaged cylinder head. I have included a couple of links down below for you to go to.

Please go through these guides and get back to us with what you find out.

Hello again,

No. The Camshaft Position Sensor (CMP) is used by the Power-train Control Module(PCM) to synchronize the firing of the Coil On Plugs (COP) of the individual cylinders. It uses a ring mounted on the end of the camshaft to determine where the number one cylinder is and is not a part of the combustion chamber in any way.

Thanks,
Alex
