No charge and overheating

Okay, sometimes this car does not always start but once it starts it will run just fine for about five minutes before fully redlining and overheating. However, it does not throw the coolant. Once it has cooled after running the car it will start up. However, I also noticed when this takes place the radio clock light stays lit even when the power switch to the radio is turned off.

Have it check for a head gasket and maybe a relay is sticking which would have to be pulled to see why you get the radio on after shut down both need to be physically checked.
