Hi,

Which fuse was replaced? Also, I need you to confirm that fuses 2 and 6 in the vehicle fuse box (left side behind dash) are good and getting power.

Here is a link you may find helpful:

https://www.2carpros.com/articles/how-to-check-a-car-fuse

If the fuses are good and have power, I need you to check for power at the brake light switch. If you look at pic 1, I have an arrow in and out from the switch. Power in to the switch is via a yellow wire with a red tracer. That should have power at all times. If it does, depress the brake to actuate the switch and check for power out via the violet wire with a white tracer.

If power is present both in and out from the switch, check for power at the light sockets. If you look at pic 2, I highlighted the wires that will have power when the brake light is actuated. Have a helper press the brake and see if power is available.

If you look at pic 3, I highlighted the two fuses I need checked. Remember, it is important to confirm there is power available to them.

By doing this, I am trying to determine where power is lost. Once we figure that out, we will know where to start looking.

Let me know what you find.

Take care,
Joe
