It started with no pedal; pump it twice have brakes.
Changed master cylinder, bench bled master still no pedal.
The mechanic said it was the ABS module.
I bought a refurbished one, bleed still no brake pedal.
The mechanic said change brake booster and another master cylinder.
Bleed system with vacuum and by hand still no pedal.
2 days bleeding still nothing.
We ran 4 quarts of fluid thru system.

Hi,

If you replaced the HCU, an automated bleed procedure needs to be done. A scan tool that can communicate and command the system is needed. Using the diagnostic scan tool, you need to follow the ABS Service Bleed instructions prompted on the scanner.

This procedure is completed after the traditional bleed procedure is completed. To the best of my knowledge, it is the only way to get all air out of the HCU.

Let me know if you have questions.

Take care,

Joe

Hi,

No problem whatsoever. Have you been able to have this done? If so, was it a success?

Let me know.

Joe
