I noticed that my blower would gradually step down but usually I have the music on too loud to even notice if it is making noises. As of the last month it has been noticeable because the air stop blowing and so I basically do not know when I go into my car if it is going to blow or not. It seemed to be that after about an hour of usage the blower motor gradually step down to nonexistent movement. For the last week or so it has not rectified itself and I am going longer and longer without any type of air blowing. Is this a blower motor resistor issue or a blower motor issue?

Coincidentally the steering wheel controls do not work for the air so maybe that has something to do with it?

Hello, I am Danny.

It sounds like more of the blower motor. Usually when the resistor goes out you lose all function of the motor itself. Have you looked at the resistor to see if the connection is melted/burned? It is located behind right side of dash. I have attached a picture of its location and a tutorial on how to replace. Hope this helps and feel free to ask any other questions. Thanks for using 2CarPros.
